Building off last week 250 most used Spanish words, I thought I would try and do the same for the most common phrases. I know from Italian and French there are phrases you need to know in order to carry a basic conversation. So I Googled and found a helpful website that also had factsheets and videos.

I repeated the same learning method from last week with writing them down and memorizing them because that’s what works for me. However, I also practiced pronunciation when memorizing because this week’s list was a smaller and I had more time. In terms of pronunciation, I think my knowledge of Italian is hindering me a little bit because the stress of the words are sometimes different and same with certain consonant and vowel pronunciations. Maybe next week exploring more of the phonetic side will be my goal.

So far I am very happy with my progress and I am slowly working towards being able to have a basic conversation (might be a little rough though).

Nos vemos luego!
