This week I decided to dial in on learning the months and the days of the week. I also started practicing with numbers from 1-20. Similar to French and Italian, once you know these it is easy to learn or infer the rest of the number. I started off with returning to my new favourite professor, Teacher Catalina, then afterwards I did a short, free worksheet that I found on the internet.

Teacher Catalina: Spanish months of the year | in 2 minutes (Los meses del año)
Spanish days of the week | in 2 minutes (Días de la semana)

The worksheet consisted of answering questions in Spanish which helped to build confidence in my comprehension (for words I didn’t know I was able to infer, which felt great) and help me notice some common question phrases.

Most of my answers were right except for some mild-intense spelling errors. But that is all a part of learning.

For my Duolingo check in: I have yet to break the streak and I am currently at a 19 days. I hope as the next few weeks get busier I don’t forgot and miss a day because I am really committed now. Next week I might return to grammar and verbs but I’m not sure yet what area I would like to focus on.

Hasta pronto!
